My Right to Safety series - Workshop 1 - Staying Safe

SACID will be running a series of information sessions about how people can stay safe in their home, service, workplace and community.
This is the first workshop in the series.
This session is for adults (18+ only)with intellectual disability.

We will:
- Talk about ‘Staying Safe’
- Watch videos about abuse
- Give you information on different types of abuse
- Tell you about services you can contact if you are feeling unsafe

We also encourage staff and supporters to come as well. Staff and supporters can help the conversation to continue after the session. They can also help people to speak up, reach out and get help.

When: Tuesday August 20, 2019. 2pm—4pm.
Where: Marion Cultural Centre, 287 Diagonal Road, Oaklands Park
